About Bistro Patois

Bistro Patois opened its doors in July 2009 in the beautiful Habersham Marketplace, known for its carefully selected businesses and distinct dining experiences. Specializing  in  comfortable, approachable food prepared with the elegance of old French fundamental style, Bistro Patois provides an exceptional neighborhood dinner venue.

Jim Spratling, executive chef of Plums Inc., mans the kitchen at Bistro Patois, where his knowledge of the French style has translated to rave reviews by the community of Habersham and the Beaufort community at large. His commitment to utilizing fresh, regional ingredients and locally farmed produce will strengthen its already solid relationship with area farmers, many who know “Chef Jim” by first name.

Guests may dine inside its intimate bistro, complete with hand-picked, one-of-a-kind artwork or outside on the sidewalk under tented chairs and tables overlooking the lush landscaping of the Habersham Marketplace.

Offering a full wine list and select beers, Bistro Patois is open for lunch (11 a.m. – 2:30 p.m) and dinner (4:30 – 10 p.m.) – Wednesday – Saturday. Reservations are encouraged and may be made by calling 843-379-2207.
